Losing weight? Good routine?

If you are going to be shooting hoops, girls tend to gain muscle whereas guys tend to get toned. If you are going to be lifting, I am guessing you are seeking strength as well? If you are then stick with more reps and less weight. Otherwise you will bulk up, similar with basketball, which isn't a bad thing, but you will gain muscle mass which is weighs more than fat. If you are going to be doing high aerobic exercises like swimming and basketball, then you should start jogging or running, not walking.
