Information about upgrade of broadband plan?

i have submitted my application of upgrade of my broadband planfromm rs150-1gb TO rs500-unlimited. iconfuse that in this month may i use ore than 1gb or shall i start from next month. plz give me advice. me from punjab bsnl circle.
