Potty training a stubborn 3 year old!?

My son is 3 years old and lets say he is a stubborn boy! I have been trying for a vcery long time to get him potty trained and he wants absolutely nothing to do with it! Does anyone have any ideas ore tricks I can use to get him to use the potty?
