What glue would you use to fix a small plastic part?

I think there are some good special glues made for plastics, when I used to put car models together I got glue from hobby stores, then kids started sniffing it, some was taken off shelves, a hobby store should still be a good place to inquire about good glues for types of plastic. DEW
