Can I pick up a GameStop ore-order at any GameStop?

I put down $15 towards my copy of Infamous 2 at GameStop and forgot that I was going to me out of town on the relase date. There's a GameStop near where I'm staying, can I pick it up there? The soonest I could get to the GameStop I pre-ordered it at would be a week after the game comes out, is there a penalty for missing pick up?
