Is cascamite a suitable alternative for epoxy?

Hi I am building a small plywood dinghy (6mm) and would like to know if cascamite powdered resin wood glue is a suitable alternative instead of west system epoxy when using a butt block or scarf joint on hull? Anyone any ideas on this please?
